Designed by Danny Harf; The Ronix Thumbtail+ unites the skate like feel of a traditional skim board with the rail design of a classic surfboard. Brand new for 2019, the Thumbtail+, features a brand new construction called surface skin exterior which is lightweight and durable. The Thumbtail+ is designed to preform either switch or regular. The Concave EVA foam pads provide the rider with great control, and the drive profile on this board gives the board a great deal of speed. So if you are looking for one board to do it all, look no further than the 2019 Ronix Thumbtail+ Wakesurf Board.


  • Machined EVA Concave back Pad 
    • This pad also features arch support and an extra tall tail kick
  • Fin-S 2 System Fins
    • This is a Ronix exclusive technology that allows for very quick and easy fin replacements and swaps.

  • Koal Surface Construction
    • A new Construction from Ronix for 2019, which incorporates the core of their high end Koal Technora, the molding process of their modello boards, and also the addition of their patented surface skin. In a nutshell, you get the durability of a wakeboard, with the lightweight feel of a high end surfboard.
  • Drive Profile
    • A Fast push feeling but with a thinner tip profile so the board will feel more stable in and out of a turn.
  • Full Rail
    • This rail design will provide a smooth, predictable turns for a classic surf feel.
  • Lava Resin
    • A high temperature resin used on all of Ronix's surfboards that is built to withstand mother natures extreme heat
  • Board Style
    • Hybrid-characteristics of both a skim and surf style board
  • Air Vents Inserted in the EVA pads
    • these vents help with the extreme heat a board may be exposed to when out on the water all day.

*Rider size suggested is for average fitness and ability. Experienced riders may prefer smaller size and beginners may require a larger size.
