Born in Santa Cruz with inland surf guru Mike Schwenne.
Hyperlite introduces the Quad thanks to Santa Cruz natives Mike Schwenne and XXX Day, this is an insane shape ideal for any quiver. At 59" the Quad can handle the big boys and even stay ahead of smaller waves, but the shape is so responsive you'll have a blast learning 360s and popping airs. Named after its 4 fin set up, surfers have the flexibility to customize the Quad for a super carving locked in feel or a more playful feel ideal for spins. Utilizing our exclusive Dura Shell construction this shape is light weight while being durable and dent resistant. Add our fully machined EVA traction pad and you have the necessary control for the best of sets.
Hyperlite’s exclusive Durashell construction equips you with lightweight, affordable shapes that feel like hand shaped boards.
CarboNetX is Hyperlite’s most innovative construction feature, adding to the ultimate technically packed boards in the industry. Diagonal woven carbon fibers allow the board to store and release energy consistently throughout the ride. The crisscrossed fibers act like springs and tension cables delivering a responsive feel and added durability while accounting for less than 1% of the boards overall weight.
360 Degree ABS Sidewall
Building a stronger board through impact protection is the goal behind ABS sidewall construction. Hyperlite's ABS sidewalls will help you tackle any obstacle in the park without the fear of an edge delam.

Hyperlite and Byerly offer 3 weights of fiberglass depending on the board. Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass every Hyperlite and Byerly deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
